Working Principle

The working principle of the LH1525AT Solid State Relay relies on a method of operation known as Zero Crossing Detection. In this method, a circuit is used to detect when the current through the load crosses zero and turns off the power to the load. The circuit then waits until the current reaches a set threshold before turning the power back on. This ensures the load is not subjected to any sudden voltage spikes when the switching is taking place.Internally, the LH1525AT consists of a thyristor device that is connected across the load. When the voltage across the thyristor reaches a certain threshold, determined by the control circuit, the thyristor switches on and activates the relay.
