Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are one of the most common types of capacitors found on the market today. The capacitor consists of a metal foil anode, separator and cathode, and these components are rolled into a cylindrical aluminum can. It is then filled with an electrolyte (usually an aqueous solution of ammonium bicarbonate saturated with potassium hydroxide). The LLG2D821MELA30 is an aluminum electrolytic capacitor with a working principle that calls on a polarized electrolytic capacitor construction, which utilizes a liquid dielectric, such as an aqueous solution of electrolyte.

The LLG2D821MELA30 aluminum electrolytic capacitors are known for their low ESR, large capacitance range and long useful life. They offer a higher capacitance rating as compared to ceramic capacitors and are capable of handling higher temperatures and large frequency ranges.
