An aluminum electrolytic capacitor, also known as an electro-chemical capacitor, is a type of capacitor consisting of two thin aluminum foils that are etched or stamped with conductive surfaces on both sides and separated by an electrolyte layer. The LLG2G561MELB40 capacitor is an aluminum electrolytic type which utilizes the electrochemical properties of aluminum to store and release energy. When the capacitor is subjected to an electrical voltage, the two aluminum plates are attracted to one another due to electrostatic force, thus forming a conductive path between the two plates.
