Aluminum electrolytic capacitors, also known as electrolytic condensers, are electrical components used primarily in power management systems for pulse power supply and signal filtering. They are extensively used in power supplies, switched-mode power supplies (SMPS), motor drives, amplifier circuits, and audio equipment. The capacitors feature high capacitance, low Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR) and high reliability. They are also known to fill the gap between film capacitors and other polarized capacitors.
