The LM25005MHX family of integrated step-down switch regulators is designed to provide ultra-low noise output and high efficiency over a wide input voltage range. The switching frequency can be selected between 250kHz and 1.5MHz allowing for optimization for layout and EMI considerations.

The LM25005MHX provides multiple levels of protection including short circuit, thermal shutdown, and output over voltage protection. It also features integrated current sense circuitry that can be used to provide over current protection. The low quiescent current (at light load) is achieved by utilizing a power-saving shutdown mode.
