The LM25101ASD-1/NOPB is a high-speed, low-power, integrated gate driver for a wide range of power switches. The discharge of the gate includes a low-impedance gate drive, intrinsic gate clamp, and gate pull-down resistor.
The LM25101ASD-1/NOPB is a complete power system solution, including the low-voltage part, gate drive circuit, gate discharge resistance, signal isolation circuit, ESD protection circuit and other components. It can support the application circuit of voltage range 4V-18V. It has excellent performance and functions including advanced fault protection, programmable undervoltage lockout (UVLO) , programmable overcurrent protection (OCP) , etc.
The LM25101ASD-1/NOPB has two short-circuit protection functions. The first one is Internal Short-circuit protection (ISC) that limits the peak current when an overheated device leads to an internal short circuit. The second protection function is External Short-circuit protection (ESC) which is based on the variable switch On Time. It applies to the external MOSFET in the circuit and can also reduce the risk of short-circuit caused by the open cell.
In addition to protection circuits, the LM25101ASD-1/NOPB also has many practical features, such as the programmable power-up delay and turn-on / turn-off delay. The startup and shutdown sequence of the power device can also be programmed to ensure that the power device starts up and shuts down correctly.
