Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) is a component or form of an integrated circuit that provides on chip system power management functions. This includes voltage regulation, power conditioning, power sequencing, system reset and systems ionization. The LM25019SDE/NOPB is a non-synchronous buck switching regulator from Texas Instruments. It is a 3.2V to 36V voltage regulator with a maximum output current upto 6A. It contains an integrated high-side and low-side sensing circuitry to provide very good regulation of output voltages over an extended input voltage range. The high level of integration enables it to save space and other external components.

The LM25019SDE/NOPB has PGOOD (Power Good) output which is used to monitor load current and output voltage. The LM25019SDE/NOPB works on the Basic Switching Regulator topology. It uses an internal switch to rapidly turn on and off, converting AC supply to an adjustable output DC voltage. When the switch turns on, the voltage across the inductor increases and when the switch turns off, the voltage across the inductor reverses and helps the current in the output circuit.
