LM2512SMs are dual, low-voltage-differential signaling (LVDS) serdes designed for applications where noise, jitter, and switch times have to be kept to a minimum. The LM2512SM/NOPB is a non-operational version of the device which can be used to evaluate the device\'s performance, as well as its various features.

The LM2512SM/NOPB is a single-chip serializer/deserializer (SerDes) designed to provide clock and data recovery, differential signal multiplexing, and LVDS compliant outputs. It is designed for applications such as Gigabit Ethernet, FibreChannel, and Infiniband. The device supports data rates up to 5.25 Gbps and can be configured for full-duplex or half-duplex operation.
