The LM2574MX-ADJ/NOPB is a dual-output step-down switching regulator with a high-current integrated power switch. An interleaving switch is a single power switch that can be controlled to channel power between two different output voltages. In this product, the output is divided into two outputs, namely the high-side and the low-side. The high-side is the primary output and the low-side is the auxiliary output. The current output of the high-side is used to regulate the power switch, and hence, the current output of the low-side is regulated.The LM2574MX-ADJ/NOPB\'s operation is enabled by the control circuitry which monitors the output voltages. When the output voltage is lower than the desired unloaded level, the control circuitry senses this and triggers the power switch to channel power from the high-side as it will have a higher voltage. When the output voltage is higher than the unloaded level, the control circuitry triggers the power switch to channel power from the low-side as it will have a lower voltage.
