The LM2575T-5G is a high performance, low power utility voltage regulator that provides excellent voltage regulation. It is suitable for applications such as industrial, commercial, and automotive voltage control and voltage sequencing.The LM2575T-5G is an Integrated Circuit (IC) that is an easy to use, cost effective switch mode DC-DC regulator. It provides excellent voltage regulation, low ripple, and low thermal losses. The LM2575T-5G has a 5V output range and is used to convert a TTL or regulated power supply to 5Vdc.
The LM2575T-5G is designed to have wide input supply range (4-40 Vdc) , allowing for use with unregulated sources like batteries or rectified AC power. With a wide input voltage range and a max output power of up to 5 Watts it is well suited for industrial applications, such as motor control, battery backup, and other types of power applications. The LM2575T-5G also has soft-start capability, which allows for smoother current draw from the input supply when the NS is initially turned on.
The LM2575T-5G features an internal frequency compensation for a stable output voltage. This frequency compensation also helps to minimize the output noise generated by the device during operation. The frequency is adjustable with an external inductor and capacitor selection. The switching frequency is adjustable over a range of 200kHz to 1.5MHz, allowing for improved efficiency at higher operating frequencies.
