Introduction:

LM2576HVSX-3.3/NOPB is a 3.3V high-power step-down voltage regulator. It is a monolithic integrated circuit, designed to offer higher efficiency, and greater flexibility than traditional linear regulators. It is widely used in Power Management and Voltage Regulation applications, as it is capable of taking input voltages as high as 40V and stabilizing them within a narrow range, typically 0.8V-5.5V. This device is also capable of offering fast transient response times and low noise operation even at higher currents (up to 3A).

Working Principle:
