LM2588S-ADJ/NOPB is a monolithic step-up/ step-down DC-DC switching regulator that is designed to be used in a variety of applications, including: portable devices, automotive electronics, and battery chargers. This DC-DC switching regulator can be used in flyback, boost, and buck-boost configurations, and provides up to 3A of continuous output current. The LM2588S-ADJ/NOPB is particularly well suited for applications requiring low quiescent current and high efficiency.
The LM2588S-ADJ/NOPB is a fixed frequency current mode synchronous boost, buck-boost converter. It operates with a wide input voltage range from 3.5V to 40V and provides an output voltage of up to 44V. Additionally, the LM2588S-ADJ/NOPB includes internal power MOSFETs for both the high-side and low-side switches of the switching regulator, thereby eliminating the need for external power MOSFETs and significantly reducing the components count and cost.
