LM2588SX-12

The LM2588SX-12 is a non-isolated, synchronous step-up transforming DC/DC (switching) power integrated circuit. It features a wide input voltage range and highly efficient operation, with an operating current of only 1μA. The LM2588SX-12 is mainly used in designs that require the output to be higher than the input voltage, in applications such as LED drivers, battery chargers and power supplies.

Working Principle

The LM2588SX-12 is a synchronous step-up transformer, meaning it increases the input voltage in order to reach the desired output voltage. It uses a control loop to regulate the output voltage.
