The LM2594HVMX-12/NOPB has the ability to regulate a 12V input voltage down to a wide range of output voltages, including 0.9V, 1.2V, 1.8V, 2.5V, and 3.3V.The LM2594HVMX-12/NOPB is designed for use with an external high-side/low-side N-channel MOSFETs which helps to reduce power dissipation in the switch element. The IC also provides cycle-by-cycle current limiting for additional protection against overloads. Additionally, the IC provides two outputs, one for powering the switch element and one for powering the load.The LM2594HVMX-12/NOPB comes in a small 5 mm x 6 mm MSOP-8 package and is capable of delivering up to 6A continuous current.
