LM2595SX-ADJ/NOPB Application Field and Working Principle

The LM2595SX-ADJ (Adjustable) and LM2595SX-NOPB (Non-selectionable) Step-Down voltage Regulators from Texas Instruments are monolithic, switching regulator ICs designed to convert a higher voltage DC supply, such as a 12V battery, to a lower voltage DC regulated output.
