The LM2597MX-3.3/NOPB is a switch mode step-down voltage regulator in the DC-DC Regulators category ofPMICs (Power Management ICs). This power regulator has integrated power technology to provide highly efficient 3.3V output with an input voltage up to 36V, a switching frequency up to 450KHz, and a maximum output current of 3.5A.The LM2597MX-3.3/NOPB is designed to provide highly efficient and stable voltage regulation while reducing power consumption and reducing component size and cost. It is designed to operate in a wide range of applications including distributed power systems, motor control and automation systems, robotics, and unmanned vehicles.The LM2597MX-3.3/NOPB integrates a low side N-type MOSFET and an internal inductor to provide an optimally designed switch mode voltage regulation solution. This combination of low-side MOSFET and inductor allow for high efficiency voltage regulation with output ripple that is low enough to meet industry standards.The integrated power topology makes the LM2597MX-3.3/NOPB an ideal solution for both linear and non-linear loads. The regulator is also well suited for load sharing applications as it can operate in a wide range of input voltage and deliver stable and consistent output voltage even when the load current changes.The LM2597MX-3.3/NOPB has numerous safety features including a precise MASTER EN pin that monitors the load current from the output. When the load current exceeds the programmed set-point, the MASTER EN pins will disable the regulator. This feature helps to protect the output voltage from overloading and helps ensure safe operation of the regulator against surges or over-voltage.The LM2597MX-3.3/NOPB also integrate under-voltage lockout, over-voltage lockout, soft-start, and over-temperature protection to ensure safe operation and correct system operation.
