The LM26400YEVAL/NOPB is a high-performance, wide-Input Voltage Point-of-Load (POL) evaluation board which operates spontaneously and can be flexibly used for a variety of tasks such as DC/DC converter analysis, evaluation and testing, conversion efficiency optimization and so on. The LM26400YEVAL/NOPB uses the LM26400Y rated at up to 6A switch with circuit protection, and operates on input voltages from 6V to 90V. It has an on-board RAM (onboard local memory) to save power-up configurations, and also provides a wide range of output voltage and current adjustments, protection modes, and adjustable switching frequency and control logic enables.

The LM26400YEVAL/NOPB evaluation board uses full analog control voltage (VCC), operating with low/high side regulation to achieve superior speed and accuracy. It also includes three integrated voltage-sense networks (INPUT, OUTPUT, and VCC) to identify losses and adjust switching characteristics. The adjustable high-side current sense ensures precise current limit with practically no additional losses. Furthermore, the board can be used to analyze the feedback loop, test new components and design the optimal circuit topology for better efficiency.
