The LM2664M6/NOPB is a low-voltage, high-performance DC-DC switching regulator specifically designed for the growing use of small lithium-ion batteries in portable electronics. The LM2664M6/NOPB is also highly integrated, utilizing on-chip programmable control and feedforward circuits for easy customization. The LM2664M6/NOPB is a highly-integrated DC-DC switching regulator that includes an adjustable switch-mode controller, an adjustable linear regulator, and an adjustable switching power MOSFET. It is designed to operate from a single-cell lithium-ion or multi-cell AA/AAA battery, to deliver up to 4A of output current at a minimum of 40mV dropout voltage at the input side or 25mV at the output side. It also has a high efficiency of over 90%.
The LM2664M6/NOPB has a wide input voltage range of 2V to 6V. The input voltage can be adjusted to allow for greater flexibility in different applications. The output voltage is adjustable from 0.3V to 6V. The LM2664M6/NOPB also features programmable (0 to 6V) output current limit protection, frequency-jittering, external synchronization and can be forced into either pulse frequency modulation or pulse width modulation.
