LM2670S-5.0 is a voltage-mode, synchronous, step-down DC-DC switching regulator designed for low noise, low output ripple and high performance applications. The LM2670S-5.0 is ideal for use in a variety of portable and automotive applications. It features switching frequencies up to 1MHz and an adjustable output current limiting feature, making it suitable for high current applications.

LM2670S-5.0 is a single-channel, low-side switch DC-DC switching regulator. It provides a programmable input voltage, output voltage, switching frequency, output current limit, and features a fast operating loop. The device includes an internally temperature compensated reference and oscillator, enabling operation without the need of external components. The LM2670S-5.0 also includes a 3-step protection circuit, including over-voltage, over-current, and over-temperature protection.

The LM2670S-5.0 is designed for a wide input voltage range of 4.5 V to 40V and its output voltage can be easily adjustable from 0.8V to 37V. Its fast loop time is designed for noise elimination and the output current can be set with an external resistor. Also, the switching frequency is adjustable from 200KHz to 1MHz.
