LM2678SD-ADJ is an adjustable voltage regulator integrated circuit (IC) in the DC/DC Electronic Switched Voltage Regulator (ESVR) product family by Texas Instruments. It is designed to provide a complete step-down solution with a wide input voltage range of 4.4 V to 50 V and an adjustable output voltage range of 1.5 V to 37 V. The output current is rated at 5 A and the output can be adjusted from 2.5 V to the maximum 37 V. This avoids the massive inrush current at startup, adds stability to the output voltage, and reduces the power dissipation. The device also has a power good flag output to indicate the voltage status at the output, and an enable signal input to control power to the device.
