The LM2672N-12/NOPB is an ultra-low power DC-DC switching regulator with integrated internal power switches that is used in many small power applications. It is a very popular, cost-effective PMIC switching regulator solution that is widely used in today’s applications. The LM2672N-12/NOPB application field and working principle are discussed in this article.

The most common applications for the LM2672N-12/NOPB switching regulator are in high efficiency power supplies, especially for DC to DC converters with output power levels of less than 1 Watt. The LM2672N-12/NOPB has been designed to provide a tight regulation of output voltage across all load conditions, while providing very low standby power consumption. Its integrated synchronous MOSFET allows the device to reach efficiency levels up to 94%. The LM2672N-12/NOPB DC-DC switching regulator features a wide step-down current mode control input voltage of up to 12V, and can supply up to 250mA output current.
