The LM2674LD-ADJ is an integrated step up switch mode voltage regulator that is designed for a wide range of applications, including LED drivers, LED backlighting, handheld equipment, and general purpose power management. The device integrates a high efficiency switch mode Voltage Regulator, current limitation, protection against short circuits, over temperature protection, as well as soft start and synchronization.

The LM2674LD-ADJ is a DC/DC switching regulator that utilizes current mode control architecture and a CMOS technology to provide a high-efficiency, low noise switch mode power supply solution. It has the ability to drive up to 6.5A load with a minimum of external components. The LM2674LD-ADJ includes an adjustable frequency oscillator, enabling the designer to optimize the system efficiency and performance.

The voltage regulator operates in constant frequency pulse-width modulation (PWM) mode. The output voltage is easily adjustable by an external resistor without requiring any external components. The input voltage range is from 0.8V to 24V and the output voltage range is from 1.23V to 24V.

The device has three protection features, namely, over voltage protection (OVP), over current protection (OCP), and over temperature protection (OTP). It also offers a built-in soft-start feature to control inrush current. Additionally, the device features synchronization to an external clock with a wide frequency range from 0.1MHz to 2MHz.

The LM2674LD-ADJ offers a 5V logic compatible shutdown pin and an enable pin. The shutdown and enable pins can be used to remotely disable or enable the regulator and also provide a means to reduce the system power consumption.

The LM2674LD-ADJ can be easily configured for applications involving LED backlighting, LED drivers or general purpose power regulation. Utilizing CMOS technology and requiring no external components, the device can be easily and conveniently used to provide the necessary power conversion and regulation, delivering high efficiency and low noise power regulation.
