The LM2674N-5.0/NOPB is one of the family of DC DC switching regulators that are specially designed to deliver a fixed output voltage. It is specifically designed for use in handheld applications, such as digital camera, MP3 players, portable computers, cell phones or Personal Digital Assistants (PDA). The LM2674N-5.0/NOPB is a low-cost, efficient, and low-noise switching voltage regulator, offering excellent performance over a wide range of operating conditions.

The LM2674N-5.0/NOPB consists of an operational amplifier, a voltage reference, and five N- channel MOSFETs connected in a synchronous rectifier and Buck converter/boost regulator circuit. This circuit provides very low output voltage ripple, high transient response, high power efficiency and fast response time. The LM2674N-5.0/NOPB can be used to generate any fixed output voltage from 2.5V to 9V.

The LM2674N-5.0/NOPB is capable of delivering a maximum output current of 850mA. The step-down feature allows it to operate from a single +5V input voltage, making it an ideal choice for portable applications. The step-up feature allows it to operate from a single +3.3V or +2.5V input voltage, providing outputs as high as +9V.
