LM2678SDX-ADJ/NOPB are adjustable and non-adjustable switch regulators manufactured by Texas Instruments. These devices are used for voltage conversion and regulation in DC applications. The LM2678SDX-ADJ/NOPB is a 3-terminal switching regulator that efficiently and quickly adjusts a voltage output within a wide input voltage (VIN) range of 4.0 V to 38 V. LM2678SDX is offered in an 8-pin SOIC (Small Outline IC) package with exposed pad, which is the standard power IC package and suitable for most standard DC applications.

The LM2678SDX-ADJ/NOPB can be used as a buck or boost switch regulator and provides an adjustable output voltage. When the voltage on the switch pin is low, the low-side MOSFET is turned on and the input voltage VIN is applied to the output filter, setting the output voltage VOUT. During the off-time, the low-side MOSFET is turned off and the high-side MOSFET is turned on, discharging the output filter, thus preventing the output voltage from rising.
