LM2678SX-12/NOPB

The LM2678SX-12/NOPB is a simple and efficient low-cost switching regulator from Texas Instruments, it’s a DC-DC buck converter from the Simple Switcher series. The series is complete with all necessary components for the design of a switching regulator for power management applications in a wide variety of markets and products, it\'s specially designed to drive low voltage, low power LED strings.

The LM2678SX-12/NOPB can be used to efficiently convert a higher input voltage to a regulated lower dc voltage. This by making use of an internal power MOSFET to generate a square wave that is transformed by an inductor and a diode. The output voltage can be set to the desired value by adjusting the internal oscillator frequency and the feedback voltage.

The LM2678SX-12/NOPB has an input voltage range of 8V to 28V and an adjustable output voltage of 0.6V to 20V.
