The LM26CIM5-XPA is a temperature thermocouple and a solid state thermostat. It is specifically designed to provide reliable temperature measurement and control in a streamlined electronic package. It can be integrated into many different applications, ranging from transportation and industrial applications to the residential and commercial markets.The LM26CIM5-XPA utilizes a thermocouple in combination with a solid state thermistor. The thermocouple can be used to measure temperatures up to a maximum of 392°F (200°C). This allows the LM26CIM5-XPA to measure temperature accurately even in the harshest of environments. The thermistor is used to provide a lower temperature limit which is factory-set at -248°F (-150°C).The solid state device contains an integrated circuit (IC) chip.
