Working Principle

The LM26LVCISDX-060/NOPB works by sensing the temperature based on a band gap reference voltage. The temperature sensing is accomplished by a specially designed dual slope integrator. The temperature is measured relative to a high order reference diode array. When a temperature-sensing circuit senses the temperature, a DNMax interrupt occurs when the temperature crosses any of the programmed reset and set levels. The product contains two sigma delta type integrators and an available 32 bit linear range which provides programmable hysteresis/deadband. A reset pre-amplifier detects the reset temperature level and produces an interrupt when the temperature is crossed. The reset temperature level and the hysteresis/deadband can be programmed with a serial interface.
