The LM2832YMY/NOPB is an integrated, DC-DC switching regulator in the PMIC (power management integrated circuit) family. The LM2832YMY/NOPB is a monolithic step-down switching regulator that includes the switching control mechanism, an oscillator, and over-current, voltage, and thermal protection to ensure robust operation in even the most demanding applications. The LM2832YMY/NOPB uses a constant frequency, peak current mode control architecture and pulse-by-pulse current-limiting to provide excellent load and line Transient performance. Additionally, the device features cycle-by-cycle Constant Frequency, PWM or PFM control modes with automatic transition at light load. The device also supports both Internal synchronous or external Schmitt trigger switching, making it suitable for both high and low frequency applications.
