The LM2853MH-0.8 is a DC-DC switching regulator from Texas Instruments' Power Management & Interface (PMIC) product range. This device is designed to convert a positive input voltage within a range of 8 – 32 VDC, to an adjustable positive output voltage down to 1.2 VDC and a maximum output current of 0.8 Amps while delivering an efficiency up to 90%.

The LM2853MH-0.8 includes a comprehensive set of integrated features, including an internal compensation network, over-voltage protection, under-voltage lockout, low-power sleep mode and adjustable current limit. The device also has a built-in thermal protection circuit that monitors the junction temperature and shuts down device operations when the junction temperature reaches its maximum. Additionally, the device is designed to meet the European Union's Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) requirements and is supplied in a 8-pin (Micro8™)package.
