The LM34927EVAL/NOPB is an evaluation board designed to provide a platform for testing and evaluating the performance and features of the LM34927 switch-mode power supply (SMPS) controller IC. This evaluation board provides an excellent platform for evaluating the features of the LM34927 in applications ranging from stand-alone DC-DC converters to AC-DC linear power supplies.

The LM34927EVAL/NOPB includes the features of the LM34927 SMPS controller IC. It features a universal input voltage range from 4.5 to 75 V and is designed for applications requiring off-line output voltages ranging from 2.5V to 25V. The board includes an integrated circuit (IC) for control of the output voltage and current, as well as a wide variety of on-board components to facilitate quick and easy evaluation of the LM34927 IC.

The LM34927EVAL/NOPB is a DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS evaluation board. It is designed to operate up to 9A of output current with a maximum output voltage of 25 V, and is rated for up to 200 watts. The board is designed to provide a platform for testing, evaluating, and prototyping applications that require a DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS.

The evaluation board consists of a control and feedback sub-circuit, consisting of the LM34927 controller IC and various other components, required to make the evaluation board operational. The control and feedback sub-circuit contains the necessary components to control the output voltage and current of the SMPS, via the control inputs. It also provides a feedback pin (FB pin) to monitor the output voltage and current of the evaluation board. This feedback pin is used by the LM34927 IC to regulate the output voltage and current of the SMPS.

The LM34927EVAL/NOPB evaluation board also contains two monitoring output pins (LMON and RTN pin): the LMON pin provides a voltage signal proportional to the output current of the SMPS and the RTN pin provides a voltage signal proportional to the output voltage of the SMPS. These two outputs are used to monitor the performance of the SMPS, and can be used to build a closed-loop control system, if required.

The LM34927EVAL/NOPB evaluation board also contains an adjustable compensation network, consisting of a resistor divider network and a potentiometer.
