An over current protection limit is provided by a current sensing resistor and signal conditioning circuitry. This signal is monitored and compared with the programmed threshold. If the signal exceeds this limit, the controller will reduce the load until the current load is within the safe operating area. The LM3670MFX-1.875/NOPB also provides a sleep mode and a power up/down control logic.The voltage regulator is based ona synchronous buck topology, and this is driven by an internal oscillator.
