The LM8261M5 is a family of quad operational amplifiers designed to provide precision amplification in instrumentation, signal conditioning, and data acquisition applications. It features a wide range of gain bandwidths and output voltages, high accuracy, low power consumption and excellent temperature stability. This makes it ideal for use in high precision, precision analog applications.

The device is based on a differential input stage with an offset voltage of typically 0.3mV and a precision gain setting. The input stage is followed by a current-feedback amplifier with a steady-state gain of 6 dB, providing fast settling times and a wide range of gain settings, enabling the amplifiers to be used as a wide-band gain amplifier, instrumentation amplifier and active filter.
