It is ideal for many industrial and consumer applications such as driving LCDs, creating pseudo-differential signals, and power-saving applications. It is also used in instrumentation applications such as pressure and flow measurements and provides accurate input linearization when used in conjunction with analog-to-digital converters.The LMC7101BIM5/NOPB is a dual channel device with a shut-down capability that allows for higher power management efficiency. It features a unity-gain bandwidth of up to 12.5 MHz and a slew-rate of 10V/μS. It offers low input offset voltage of 0.3mV, low power consumption, and a fast rise time with a very-narrow settling response, which is especially useful for driving high-speed analog-to-digital converters.The LMC7101BIM5/NOPB features a fully-differential, ultra-high speed amplifier with a high common-mode input voltage range. It has an internally fixed gain of +2 and a low bias current. It includes both a shut-down input and an output enable input to provide very high power management efficiency. The shut down input can be used in several ways, such as to shut down unused amplifiers in a multi-amplifier application, or when a low power consumption mode is required and the amplifier is not needed. The output enable input can be used to further reduce power consumption and improve speed by disabling the output stages of the amplifier.The LMC7101BIM5/NOPB also offers excellent capacitor-to-capacitor transitions which are useful for driving low-impedance loads. It has a low power consumption of only 10mW, inclusive of the output buffer.
