The LMC7211BIMX/NOPB comparator is an integrated circuit designed for linear-direct applications. This device uses two differential inputs for exact and precise comparison of analog signals with two threshold levels, and it produces a TTL level output. The LMC7211BIMX/NOPB linear-comparator is a highly reliable, low-cost device that contains an integrated voltage reference and two amplifier stages. This device operates by comparing the input analog signal to two threshold levels - one for low voltage and one for high voltage. If the incoming signal falls below the low threshold level, the device will output a low voltage pulse. If the incoming signal rises above the high threshold level, the device will output a high voltage pulse. In effect, the device is detecting whether the incoming signal is below, above, or between the two threshold levels.

The LMC7211BIMX/NOPB device has two primary components that give it its unique capabilities: the voltage reference and amplifier stages.
