The LMK03806BEVAL/NOPB Evaluation and Demonstration Boards and Kits is a versatile, high-speed, low-power-consumption, clock multiplier IC. With its integrated clock synthesizers, it can be used to generate multiple frequencies from a single-reference clock. The board provides the user with the ability to select a device type, adjust various settings, and modify some of the configuration pins to demonstrate the device’s capabilities.

The LMK03806BEVAL/NOPB provides the user with a comprehensive platform to evaluate the performance and characteristics of the device, as well as an interface to prototype a design quickly and easily. The board is operated either in the stand-alone mode for development and evaluation, or in the system development mode, which allows the user to quickly modify designs to suit customer requirements without the need to purchase and assemble additional components and debug a design.

It supports input frequencies from 12.288 MHz to 614.4 MHz and can generate multiple frequencies from a single reference clock that can range from 9.47 kHz up to 38.88 MHz. In addition, the board features clock Jitter Cleaner technology, which optimizes the output clock signal by cleaning up jitter components. The board also supports adjustable spread spectrum output, which allows the user to adjust the frequency, spread percentage, and modulation type to reduce EMI (electromagnetic interference) issues.

The other features of the board include an on-board sequencer that allows the user to control frequency outputs, voltage levels, and spread parameters. It also features an adjustable PLL (phase lock loop) which allows the user to control the output frequency and spread spectrum, as well as adjust the start-up time of the device.
