The LMK04828SNKDTEP is an integrated high-speed frequency synthesizer. It is part of the Texas Instruments\' family of Clock/Timing - Clock Generators, PLLs, Frequency Synthesizers. The LMK04828SNKDTEP provides frequency conversion and clock signal conditioning capabilities for many types of consumer, industrial, military, and automotive clocking applications. It is a superior timing and frequency solution for applications requiring fast frequency-locking loop, low phase noise and ultra-low jitter performance.The LMK04828SNKDTEP is a complete clock circuit with a wide frequency range of 10 kHz to 2.2 GHz. It is available in both through-hole and RoHS compliant surface mount packages for easy mounting. The chip features an integrated low-jitter oscillator with exceptionally low harmonic noise, an extremely wide modulation range, and a high-performance phase-locked loop (PLL).The LMK04828SNKDTEP has many distinct advantages over other Clock/Timing - Clock Generators, PLLs, Frequency Synthesizers.It is designed to provide superior performance by utilizing a low noise charge pump, on-chip logic to enable superior noise level and jitter performance, and an integrated voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO). It has a wide input voltage range of 3.3 to 5.5V, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, and it is temperature compensated from 55°C to 125°C. The LMK04828SNKDTEP combines a low power consumption with a high clock frequency output, making it an ideal solution for high-speed communication systems. It supports a wide range of frequencies including 1.25GHz and 2.2GHz as well as a CMOS/LVCMOS output for versatile applications.The LMK04828SNKDTEP uses an external crystal oscillator to generate the required clock input signals. It then converts these signals into a high-quality clock signal suitable for data communication systems. The output frequency of the LMK04828SNKDTEP can be controlled via an I2C or SPI control bus, which allows for flexible frequency settings.The LMK04828SNKDTEP utilizes a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) to clock the PLL output.
