The LMR61428XMMX/NOPB works on a synchronous-rectified-buck design, using a PMOS power transistor as the switch, and is enabled/disabled using logic on the enable pin. It must be toggled low in order to turn on and high in order to turn off. The enable pin behaves differently when low: it will turn on and remain on while held low. The enable is a convenience pin that supports ON/OFF transition.
