The LMR62421XSDDEMO/NOPB evaluation board is an AC/DC (off-line) SMPS with applications such as power supplies, motors, and other constant power sources. The power stage consists of a switching power supply optimized for high efficiency, wide input voltage range (90-264Vac, 47-63Hz, single-phase), and low-power solution. An AC/DC converter with double-stage topology converters efficiently convert AC input to a DC output voltage on the secondary side. It also provides a regulated output.
For automotive applications, the evaluation board provides an interface to the controller that allows for easy control of the power stages. This connection provides an analog signal that controls the DC/DC converter for power efficiency and noise optimization.
