The LMZ22010EVAL/NOPB evaluation board is a DC/DC and AC/DC (off-line) switching mode power supply (SMPS) for up to 10A applications. This evaluation board can help reduce design times and costs by providing an easy to use platform for designing and testing SMPS systems. The evaluation board is based upon the LMZ22010 two-phase non-isolated buck regulator, which provides an efficient and compact power supply solution for a variety of applications.

The LMZ22010EVAL/NOPB provides a robust platform to which all components required for a complete switching power supply solution can be connected. It supports a wide input voltage range from 4V to 42V DC, allowing for the highest efficiency at wide input voltage ranges. It also offers a wide output voltage range, from 0.6V to 5V, with tight load and line regulation specifications. The board is designed to meet international safety regulations such as CISPR22B, EN55022B, FCC Part 15B, UL/EN/IEC60950, and other international standards.

The LMZ22010EVAL/NOPB also features several protection features which protect the system from faults such as over-current, over-temperature, over-voltage, short-circuit and under-voltage. The LMZ22010EVAL/NOPB also features a built-in protection circuit which automatically reduces the output voltage to 0% when an over-current fault is detected. This feature helps to extend the life of the system and provide secure operation.

The LMZ22010EVAL/NOPB also features a variety of connectors which allow for easy connection of external components such as input and output cables, power-on reset circuits, standby signals, the power stage control circuit and the power supply feedback control circuit. The evaluation board also features a zero-voltage switching feature which eliminates acoustic noise and reduces the intensity of EMI and RFI emissions.

The LMZ22010EVAL/NOPB evaluation board is powered by an external AC/DC power supply. In order to power the board, an external AC/DC power supply operating at a voltage range of 100-240V is required. The evaluation board is also capable of operating on a higher voltage range of up to 600V DC. The evaluation board features an onboard switching power supply which can be programmed to the desired output voltage.

The LMZ22010EVAL/NOPB evaluation board features an integrated microcontroller which provides comprehensive monitoring and control of the power stage. This feature allows users to monitor the input and output voltages, current, temperature, protection fault status, operating modes, fan speed, and power supply fault status. The microcontroller also provides an easy-to-use graphical user interface (GUI) which enables engineers to set up and control the board quickly and easily.

The LMZ22010EVAL/NOPB evaluation board is an ideal platform for evaluating and designing DC/DC and AC/DC (off-line) switching power supplies. The board provides engineers with a flexible and reliable solution which reduces design times and costs by providing an easy to use platform for evaluating and testing SMPS systems.
