Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors
The LNK2G182MSEFBN is an aluminum electrolytic capacitor from Murata. This type of capacitor is characterized by its cylindrical shape and mechanical construction. In the case of the capacitor, when a voltage is applied, positive ions (cations) from the electrolyte are attracted to the negative foil and negative ions (anions) to the positive foil. As these ions accumulate close to the electrodes, a current will flow through the electrolyte to the other side of the capacitor, allowing charge to accumulate. This charge can then be used to power a circuit.
