LNK501PN is an advanced single-stage, fixed frequency, current-mode, PWM switching controller. It has been designed for offline AC-DC power conversion, mains-powered applications. The main application includes Fluorescent Lamp Ballast, Unipolar Switching AC-DC Power Supplies, Half-bridge Resonant Power Supplies, Bipolar Switching AC-DC Power Supplies and Buck Boost Topology, among others.
The LNK501PN has an advanced, high-performance modulation and control features that provide superior performance and maximum power savings. It is capable of achieving power savings of up to 95% and is the ideal solution for high-efficiency AC-DC power conversion applications.
The LNK501PN is integrated with a Maximum Power Point Traking (MPPT) controller which tracks the maximum output power of the power supply and optimizes it according to the environment. The MPPT controller ensures constant control of the power supply output and automatically adjusts the operating point of the power supply for maximum efficiency. Additionally, the LNK501PN supports flexible synchronous rectification and can provide up to 80% efficiency for single-stage power supplies.
