Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors

An aluminum electrolytic capacitor is a passive two-terminal electrical component which consists of flat aluminum foils separated by a paper impregnated with an electrolyte solution. Aluminum electrolytic capacitors have capacitance values ranging from microfarad levels to tens of thousands of microfarads. They are available in a variety of package sizes, voltage ratings and temperature ranges.
