Working Principle
The working principle of an aluminum electrolytic capacitor is based on the physical properties of aluminum, which is a porous metal. A thin layer of aluminum oxide forms on its surface, which acts as an insulator to create a barrier between the two layers of aluminum and prevents current from passing through it. This layer of aluminum oxide together with the porous surface of the metal allow electrons to flow through the metal, thus creating a capacitor.
The LNX2J272MSEJ is constructed using a special, low-profile aluminum foil and electrolyte which is then sealed with a special heat-resistant, epoxy resin.
