Power over Ethernet (PoE) is a technology that provides power to devices over existing Ethernet infrastructure. PoE is a technology that enables power and data transmission over the same Ethernet cable, allowing a device to receive both power and data simultaneously. Working Principle

This allows the IC to reduce peak currents, over-voltages and inrush currents during start-up. The IC then forces the current in the diode rectifier network to a desired level. The instantaneous output power is then monitored and compared with the desired or programmed output power. If the output power is lower than the set level, the IC increases the voltage of the MOSFETs in the rectifier network until the programmed power level is reached. The LT4276BIUFD#PBF is also capable of controlling and managing voltage collapse, hence ensuring that the programmed or desired power level is continuously delivered. This includes over-voltage protection, over-current protection and thermal protection.
