LV5068VGEVB is an evaluation board with the fully featured, high performance, and high accuracy high density DC/DC & AC/DC off-line switching mode power supply (SMPS). It is designed to be used for evaluation of power supply control ICs/application specific integrated circuits (ASICs) with very low standby power and full feature set, enabling the users to easily check and evaluate its performance and features.

The main features of this evaluation board are: full featured, with wide input voltage ranges of 4.5V ~ 18V plus long loop (optional) or short loop control, high accuracy voltage output, fast transient response, built-in EMI filter, high efficiency (up to 91%), low heat generation, low duty cycle and low power dissipation.

The LV5068VGEVB application field ranges from industrial to consumer markets, such as mother board’s VRM, automotive, telecommunication, multimedia, battery chargers, adapters, power supplies and others. Due to its extreme flexible design, the LV5068VGEVB can also be applied to any type of SMPS for maximum power density and cost savings.

The working principle of LV5068VGEVB is based on modern switching power supply technologies, which use a voltage converter to convert the input voltage into a regulated output voltage.
