LV5052V-TLM-E is a DC-DC switching controller with a wide range of applications, such as automotive driving and industrial control. It is a low-voltage, high-current, highly integrated controller that enables efficient power conversion. The LV5052V-TLM-E features a synchronous rectification buck regulator with very low drop-out voltage and requires only one control circuit. It can provide high-current performance up to 5A, excellent output current regulation, high input voltage capability from 4.5V to 28V, wide output voltage range from 0.8V to 20V, and fast transient response. Further, it has excellent EMI performance, thanks to the integrated broad-band noise filter, as well as a low noise output filter.The working principle of the LV5052V-TLM-E is to convert the input voltage to a regulated output voltage through a series of switching cycles. In each switching cycle, the integrated bias current select circuit determines the power-up and power-down portion of the cycle. Then, the charge pump circuit supplies a bias current to the output power switch and the power switch is operated according to the control logic in the controller. This control logic is based on the feedback signal from the well-regulated output voltage and the sense voltage. The LV5052V-TLM-E features advanced features such as under voltage lockout and overvoltage protection, over temperature protection, hiccup overcurrent protection, and a selectable soft start mechanism. Further, the device also integrates an embedded temperature compensation circuit to improve the system efficiency and prevent instability caused by environmental temperature changes.LV5052V-TLM-E is ideal for application such as DC-DC converters, power management in automotive systems, industrial control, and so on. This module is significantly more efficient and reliable than discrete solutions and has a wide range of applications. It is easy to integrate into existing systems, and is ideal for applications that require a wide voltage or current range, or require a fast transient response.
