MALSECL00AD322BARK Application field and Working principle

MALSECL00AD322BARK (Advanced Robust Series) is an aluminum electrolytic capacitor which has magnetically-enhanced design features and offers improved breakthrough and leakage performance. It is designed for use in applications where vibration or mechanical shock is a factor, such as automotive and telecommincations.

The working principle of MALSECL00AD322BARK is based on Faraday’s Law of electromagnetic induction. The electrodes are made up of two metal plates, one of which is the capacitor plate and the other is the anode plate. The capacitor plate is composed of a highly porous material with a large surface area, while the anode plate is composed of a non-porous material that conducts current. When the capacitor is connected to a DC voltage source, the positively-charged anode plate attracts electrons from the surface of the capacitor plate, resulting in a build-up of positive charge on the capacitors plate. This results in a voltage difference between the two plates, and an electrostatic field is generated in the capacitor.

As current flows through the anode, electrons are released from its surface which then combines with the positively-charged capacitor plate, resulting in an electric current. This current then passes through the anode and is released through the capacitor plate, forming a closed loop. The result is the capacitance of the capacitor, which determines the amount of current-flow that can be stored in the device.
