MAX15012DASA+ is a monolithic, high-current gate-driver IC used for driving power MOSFETs and IGBTs for high-power synchronous buck applications. Working Principle of MAX15012DASA+
The MAX15012DASA+ is capable of driving both an NMOS low-side FET and an N-Channel high-side FET, or an NMOS low-side FET and a PMOS high-side FET. The device is operated using a logic control signal. When the logic control signal (Logic_E) is low, the low-side FET is turned on and the high-side FET is turned off. When the logic is high, the low-side FET is off and the high-side FET is on.
