The MAX16133LFM/V+T is part of the PMIC - Supervisors group of integrated circuits from Maxim Integrated. It is designed to enable safe and reliable system power-on and enable/disable control of a single output, as well as create a latching enable/disable power control for a system in which multiple power supplies are sequenced.
The MAX16133LFM/V+T offers protection from overvoltages, undershoots, and overshoots. It also offers protection from input glitches by clamping the input voltage with a fast response time. It operates at input voltages of 3.3V and 5.5V, and is active-low logic-controlled. The output of the device is engaged when the Enable goes low.

The MAX16133LFM/V+T is further enhanced by an integrated Glitch Reducer circuit which reduces input glitches to the comparator. This ensures that the voltage at the Enable pin (V_EN) does not go above VREF for more than a certain amount of time. This prevents the output of the device from engaging when signals with noise levels above VREF are applied to the Enable pin.
The MAX16133LFM/V+T offers a wide range of options to power up the device. It is available with output driving up to 30mA and three built-in level shifters which allow for input voltage levels from 3.3V to 5.5V. It is also available in a variety of packages such as leaded, leadless, DIP, and SOT223.
In addition, the MAX16133LFM/V+T also offers a latching enable/disable option. This feature allows a user to create a reliable system power-on and enable/disable control that can be used in systems with multiple power supplies.
