MAX3059ASA is an integrated differential receiver used in various interface applications. It is designed to provide an interface between systems operating at different voltage levels, provide a high-speed communication link, or provide an interface between digital logic and analog signals. The MAX3059ASA is widely used in Ethernet, RS-232, USB and other industrial systems.
General Description
The MAX3059ASA consists of four parts, an input amplifier, an analog buffer, output latch, and a low-power standby mode. The input amplifier will amplify the differential input signals within the bandwidth of 10MHz and gain of 12dB. It can reject input signals with frequency higher than 30MHz. The analog buffer is used to store the amplified signal until the next step. The output latches will store the data generated by the analog buffer and hold its content independently from the input signals. In order to preserve power, the MAX3059ASA also includes a low-power standby mode. This enables the device to enter a low-power state automatically when the input signals reach a certain level.Features and Benefits
